WFFI provides scholarships and other support to various organizations that make the sport of fly fishing accessible to youth and adults and help reinforce conservation efforts.

The future of conservation lies with our youth and developing their love of the outdoors. We sponsor Idaho youth to attend Trout Camp, a 5-day summer program for boys and girls ages 10 to 13 years. The camp emphasizes ethics, etiquette and streamside environment along with the joy of fly fishing.

Donations also support the outings, presentations, and information we provide so that members and others are able to particiipate safely in recreational and instructional activities including casting, fly and knot tying, fly and equipment selection, entomology, reading the water, safety on and in the water, fishing etiquette, and conservation. Your donation, along with member dues, makes it possible to bring organized outings, clinics, seminars, and regular meetings to our members and others.
