Members are invited to our monthly meeting featuring a brief member update, a drawing prize give-away, and a presentation on a fly fishing topic by a noted speaker. Meetings are held at the Riverhouse in Star on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.

The Hagerman Valley is a short hour’s drive from Boise. The Valley is the most underrated, underfished, and misunderstood fly fishing area in Southwest Idaho. When most folks think of spring creeks, they think of Silver Creek in the Wood Valley. Just minutes from downtown Boise, there are five spring creeks full of trout in the Hagerman Valley. Join Mike Sandifer as he unlocks the secrets of fly fishing the Hagerman Valley.

Mike Sandifer has been a fly fisherman for more than 50 years and a teacher of fly fishing for the past three decades. The owner of the Northwest School of Fly Fishing and Northwest Virtual Fly Fishing Academy, Mike has dedicated his life to teaching fly fishing and passing on his years of experience to all those who wish to learn the sport.

Mike’s recently published book, Critical Concepts of Fly Fishing, will be offered to WFFI members at the discounted price of $25. Check or cash only.
