Our January meeting will be thru Zoom only.

The Boise River sits in our backyard and is often overlooked for “better” fishing. It’s time, however, to take another look at our local fishery and what it has to offer. In this presentation Jose Karry will share what is in the river and a few ideas of when to target each species, challenging your view of the Boise River. After this presentation, you will look at it from a new perspective.

Jose is the owner of Vice Outdoors, a guide outfit that services the Boise River. Vice Outdoors specializes in education. Their goal is that after a day with them, you will feel confident to fish on your own. Vice Outdoors offers everything from full guide days to hourly lessons. Members and nonmembers are invited to our monthly meeting featuring a brief member update, information on upcoming activities, a drawing prize giveaway,  followed by a presentation on a fly fishing topic by a noted speaker. Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.
