April 2025 Meeting: Fishing Tactics for the Boise River In Town

Martha Modawell, guide with Boise River Guides, will present some helpful strategies and tactics for fishing the Boise River in town.  Although the flows are currently too high to fish, this is great info to store away for later this summer and fall.

Martha and her husband Colt are guides with Boise River Guides.  Martha loves every opportunity to throw a dry fly and is very skilled at tight line nymphing. As a practicing yoga instructor, she has a special passion for education and loves to bring new people to the river and help land their first trout.

Please note! Our presentations begin at 7pm.  We arrive at IDFG at 6:30pm to open up the building for social time, raffle tickets, merch/sale table shopping, and give folks time to settle in their seats from 6:30-7pm.  If you arrive prior to 6:30pm, the building will likely not be open.
