Boise River Day Trip – In Town

We’re hitting the Boise River in town for some Friday evening fun!  We’ll meet at 5pm at Barber Park where the floaters put in.

This will be a great opportunity to take what you learned from Steve Sandusky’s Walk and Talk at our September meeting and put that new knowledge to work!  We’ll hit the spots Steve showed us.  Stay tuned for an email after Steve’s presentation with a summary of the information he shared, the techniques to use,  as well as the flies he recommended.  We’ll make sure to space out and have a fun evening of “leap frogging” our way downstream.  This outing is best suited for those of you who are comfortable walking a mile to two in your waders and boots.

You’ll need to bring your fly rod and related gear.  Waders and boots recommended but it may be warm enough to wet wade.  You will also need an ID fishing license to participate.
