Horsethief Reservoir Float Tube Day Trip
We’re heading to Horsethief Reservoir for the day! We’ll meet at 10am HERE. For those who want to make a weekend out of it, there are lots of camping options in the area. If anyone would like to carpool from the Eagle area, watch your inbox. Amy Haynes will send out more event info including a carpool location closer to the event date.
What you’ll need to bring:
- Float tube (Don’t have one? Let us know! Many members have extra tubes and fins they’d be willing to let you borrow.)
- Fins
- Waders
- Footwear appropriate for your fins
- Whistle (as per ID law)
- PFD (also per ID law)
- Sunscreen
- Your fishing gear (rod, flies, net, etc)
- Fishing license
- Lunch
If you don’t want to float tube, there are lots of areas to fish from the shore.
