March 2025 Meeting: Introduction to Float Tubes and Float Tube Safety

Since float tube season is right around the corner, this will be a member-led discussion about float tubing and float tube safety.  Float tubes are a great way to fly fish lakes and ponds!  They are especially handy during the spring and summer months when the water levels on most all of our rivers are too high to safely wade.  We’ll have some float tubes on hand so you can see what they’re all about.  As with any water sport, safety is crucial so we will also discuss how to stay safe on the water.
