WFFI offers this annual workshop to provide a comprehensive introduction to fly fishing. This year’s workshop will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Idaho Fish & Game Headquarters at 600  S. Walnut Street in Boise from 9 am to approximately 3 pm.

There are five sessions:

• Knots
• Safety
• Equipment and Etiquette
• Lines and Reels
• Casting

By the end of the workshop, you should have a good start to learning this sport. This would also be a great overview/refresher for those with some fly fishing experience.

Member Registration

The workshop is a benefit of being a WFFI member. There is no charge for members. Please register (for planning purposes) on our  MeetUp page.

Nonmember Registration

If you are not a member, the fee to attend the Workshop is $30, which is the cost of a year of membership in WFFI. Since membership has additional benefits, we invite you to join WFFI here. Then, join the club’s private MeetUp group and register for the Workshop at no additional cost.
